On Sunday, October 5th, we will host a morning book talk to explore and discuss how well-meaning rules can get in the way of action and innovation and how this book relates to Newburgh or other Hudson River cities.

Seeing Newburgh’s 19th Century Ironwork Tour with Steve Baltsas

There is a strong chance the City of Newburgh has more historic ironwork than any municipality between New York City and Albany. While most of the ironwork dates to the mid–19th century, it is still in continuous use, and it is hoped that research initiatives such as this will promote the inclusion of ironwork in preservation strategies.
